The Society of Environmental Journalists (SEJ) is North America's only association of news professionals working to strengthen environmental reporting in all forms of media, to inform and engage the public on environmental issues. SEJ's member-led conferences, publications, and online services help print, broadcast, and electronic journalists improve coverage of climate change, sustainable food systems, water quality, energy policy, biodiversity, oceans health, green jobs, and many other interrelated issues of the environment.
Society of Environmental Journalists, Inc. was a Brainerd Foundation grantee from 2010 to 2011.
