Grantee Profile: Crag Law Center
Founded in 2001, Crag Law Center (CLC) works at strengthening the capacity of local citizens and grassroots groups working to create positive change for our environment and communities. Over the last seven years, with a staff of four and a quarter million dollar annual budget, CLC has worked with 60-plus groups and has a strong reputation for attaining conservation victories.
Recent Grant History:
2011 - $3,000 To promote a more sustainable, livable future for the White Salmon River by protecting the hundreds of acres of adjacent farm and forestland from housing development. Opportunity Fund
2010 - $3,000 To protect important farm lands from pollution caused by proposed gravel pit mining. Opportunity Fund
2009 - $25,000 To support community efforts to protect Oregon's natural landscapes. Conservation Capacity
